The First Transnational Project Meeting of the SUSTOUR-MED Sustainable Tourism training for the Mediterranean region project was recently held in Messina, Italy, in September from 2ⁿᵈ to 4ᵗʰ 2022, at the headquarters of the host Association "Education In Progress".
The meeting brought together staff from EIP and Green Village to discuss project results and make important decisions for the project's future.
Over the course of the three-day meeting, project results 2, 3, 4, and 5 were reviewed, and the contents and deadlines of each project result were clarified. The partners also made decisions on critical aspects of the project, such as setting deadlines for project results, launching a dedicated website, creating a template for collecting good practices, and defining objectives for the implementation of good practices in hotels.
The structure and content of the website were discussed in detail, with different designs compared and the final structure indicated to the web designer. Additionally, the partners agreed on the creation of a comprehensive guide for the project.
This meeting marked a significant milestone in the progress of the SUSTOUR-MED project, as partners came together to work towards a common goal of sustainable tourism training in the Mediterranean region. The next steps will be the implementation of the decisions made at the meeting and continued collaboration among partners.
